Our Girls Competitive Program has girls from 3 all the way up to 18, and from developmental through level 10. The goal of the program is to teach the athletes discipline while having fun in an engaging and learning environment. Our gymnasts practice anywhere from 2-24 hours per week.
I was a gymnast for 4 years and have coached gymnastics for 7 years! I also was a cheerleader for 6 years. I love coaching and being apart of something so influential and positive for children. I like being able to give the children guidance and good life skills as well as gymnastic skills! I am currently one semester away from having my associate’s degree from Oakland community college (I want to go into a business program) and from there I will be working towards my bachelor’s degree.
I have been teaching for 6 years and currently teach second grade. I love what I do because its so fun to watch the children and interact with them as they are learning new things. Children have a different way of looking at the world and all that’s inside with such wondrous curiosity and excitement.
Gymnastics has been apart of my life since I was 3 years old. I started in classes and worked my way up to Level 9. I have spent the last 15 years of my life coaching gymnastics off and on. I look forward to meeting you and your children in the near future.
I have been coaching at SGA for 3 years. I played softball for 2 years and was a cheerleader for 5 years. I have siblings who currently attend SGA one of which is on our competitive team. My favorite subject in school was math and I love to read. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and friends. I am in school earning a degree in Elementary Education. I am very excited to meet you and your child!
I was a competitive gymnast for 8 years and I have been coaching gymnastics for 7 years. I recently graduated from Oakland University in December 2019 with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) and I am currently a full-time RN (nurse) on a cardiac unit. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, and boating.
I’ve always loved being active, my love of gymnastics started when I became an all-star cheerleader. I would always help my younger sister with her gymnastics and I loved seeing her learn something new. I love working with kids and seeing them excited when they learn new skills.I look forward to meeting you and coaching your children.
