This is a 50-minute class designed to help your child transfer over to our recreational program. As such, this class is a modified Boys Instructional Class. Gymnasts will advance their basic skills on all events: Floor, P-Bars, Low Bar, Rings and Vault. This is a Boys Only Class.

FAQs

- Forward rolls, backwards rolls, handstands, straight jumps, tuck, straddle and pike jumps. Tuck and chin hold, squat on, swing to candle stick, quarter circle, half & full circle.

We move children up to the next class or level by their age and skills. There are certain skills for each level that are required before moving up. Strong Star students will move up when they turn 7 years old and are in first grade or up. This is beneficial for all our students because it ensures they are grouped with other children their age and skill level.

Strong Stars is station based with set rotations and specifically timed events which will help each student achieve the skills needed to move up to the next level.

All SGA coaches are USAG, Safe Sport, First Aid & CPR certified. All of our coaches have been trained by our senior coaching staff along with our preschool and recreational directors. They are evaluated and tested before taking on their own classes to ensure they have received & retained the best training practices.
